me as well, and i admit i cannot stand musicals/broadway,
but i used to work in the arts via fundraising/promotions for opera companies and museums, and this is NOT a federal thing!!

You're right about the grants & such so I wonder if the government is fleecing the American people because it's easier to bury tracks & trails that way?
