Gene Rosen is a retired psychologist who lists the infamous Fairfield Hills State Hospital in Newtown as a former place of employment. Fairfield Hills treated the mentally ill with electric shock therapy, hydrotherapy, psychosurgery and frontal lobotomies early on, resulting in a few suicides and “mysterious” deaths.
