#1: Rinse your tips, then measure your tips by pushing them down in a large measuring container. Then add them to a pot, and the same amount of water and sugar. So 2 cups tips, 2 cups water, 2 cups sugar. Stir well and boil for 15 minutes, turn off heat, cover the pot, let sit 24 hours, strain well, bring to a boil and reduce (thicken) by 1/3. Pour into canning jars, waterbath for 10 minutes.

#2: Rinse tips, place a layer in a jar, cover with sugar, put another layer in the jar, cover with sugar, etc until you end with a layer of sugar on top. Let sit for 2 weeks, shake occasionally as the liquid that is pulled from the tips sinks to the bottom. In 2 weeks, drain and put into a jar, put jar in the fridge - good for months and full of Vit C and other vitamins.

To use:

Add 1-2 spoonfuls to a glass of water, add ice if you want, and drink. It's called "poor man's lemonade". It has a citrusy flavor.
