Don’t buy GME at all. Go shop at GameStop instead. Paying $370 for something worth $70 doesn’t make that something worth $370. Y’all seem to be assuming that these funds would have naked short positions and no way to profit from what is happening today. I’m certain they’ve all got calls to cover the downside, and all you’re doing by pumping the stock is overpaying for something. It’s a willful transfer of wealth, and you’re likely making these people ten times what they would’ve made had you done nothing.

Unless GME has some sort of stock price trigger in a debt covenant or something, manipulating the stock price is nothing more than a payday for professional speculators. You are not stealing from these people today, they are stealing from you, except you’re letting them.
