That brings up an interesting point which crossed my mind as well. Suffice to say Clinton herself was not ever really a top dog (regardless of her perceived power) and even if she is herself “out of play” there are many other powerful players who are still active and terrified. This would still be part of the same merry band of cabal misfits.
