When quoting bible, do not forget that the Vatican and others edited 30-50% of bible with lies. You cannot take scripture for granted. You have to discern it. If any scripture includes fear, guilt or people being less than God, it is a lie.
I know this is controversial but especially being less than God. God does not want you to fear him/her. You are a splinter of him/her (No gender-balance). He does not fear himself. You have powers. Yes I agree. But I have been with the church my whole life and through many generations. Most of the the people who go there to worship God believe in HIM.
