Yes, you and every human on earth are in the End Times today. Prophisied thousands of years ago and on God Timetable. Unfourtunatly , WWG1 not all will be Raptured who are not of the body of Christ only those washed in the blood of the Lamb will be Rapture in the twinkling of an eye and those left behind will have to go through the Tribulation . Even during the Tribulation some will find Christ. At the end those are Rapture by Christ in the second Rapture. Believing in The Rapture has nothing to do with being saved. Those who will be taken to be with Him are those who believe Jesus is the Son of God Who is God, Who bought you by paying your debt & taking your place in Hell, then rose to give you His glory.

There is no other faith by which we can be saved, not faith in ourselves, not faith in tradition, not faith in the Rapture, nothing else can save any of us but faith in Jesus. Jesus will claim ALL who are His, whether or not they believe in the Rapture. The thief on the cross beside Jesus believed in Him, that He was who He said He was & it was all the thief needed to be with Jesus that day in Paradise.

Our prayer should be like the thief's prayer, "Remember me, Lord, please remember me."

I've read quite a few of them, some are very questionable, some are downright heretical, some, like the Gospel of Thomas are uplifting, some are really interesting like Enoch. It appears Mohammad used a version of The Apocalypse of Peter to support his assertion in the Koran Jesus never died on the Cross. You believe that? Want to?

Beware of extra-biblical texts, read them with a discerning/critical eye, don't use them to found your faith on, found your faith only on Jesus. If you belong to Jesus, your heart knows Him, beware of writings that ring false to the Jesus in your heart.

Jesus is in the Bible we have now, can any other book show His glory as beautifully as John? I'm not hunting, I found my treasure, my Savior Jesus Christ, in the Bible we have now. :)

I do as I put some of these together and always use discernment on any reading you do. The audiobooks are all good and Ive listened to all of them. The reason many were left out was prior to the printing press they were all written by hand.

Not really. :) Most were left out because they didn't ring true to the Gospel message. Prior to that period of standardization there were many branches/sects of Christianity, some blatantly heretical to the point of being anti-Christ.

The Gnostics were the most reviled with their insistence you could naturally empath your way to Jesus. Though I agree you must feel Jesus inside you, He wouldn't have sent His Disciples out if He thought people could just naturally come to His teachings all on their own, with no instruction. But it's easy to see why the Church Fathers of that day felt Gnostics were a direct threat to their organized version of Christianity.

In a way, once Gutenberg gave us the Bible to read for ourselves, Protestants became a form of Bible-based Gnostics, believing everything they needed for salvation was in the Bible, not subject to the whims of interpretation of the Catholic clergy.

The Protastant Bible has 66-68 Books in it and the Catholic Bible 72 Books. I politly disagree as it is written no man should add to or take away from the Words of God.
All currents Book in all Bibles were edited and Holy Books even removed.
For example when Christ was hanging on the cross dieing the Current Bibles say he said “ Father Why Have You Forsaken Me “ I can assure you Christ never questioned God like that . Every thing he did and saind made that one statement contray to what Christs Life was dedicated too. That was put in by man or misinterped by man from Aramaic to Hebrew to Greek to Latin and to English. All are possible. Thats why using discerment Christains should hunger for all the Words of God. On Judgement Day when God ask you or me did we seek to find and understand Gods Words given to humanity all those thousands of years. I can say Yes Lord I did and I shared all your Words given to humanity. God is not a Protastant , a Catholic, a Islamic or a Buddist.
