Sorry this is not new folks, the government has been paying farmers for years not to plant crops, Wheat, Soy, Cotton etc. Have Family members (Farmers) in Mississippi that have been paid not to plant crops.

You are sorry right! My dad use to have a farm in the 70's & 80's. Fields and dairy. Then comes the mid 80's, government strips many of the Iowa farms from producing and the banks swoop in and foreclose on so many. Remember Willie Nelson's Farm Aid? My dad lost everything!
