Why??? Because that's probably how Mitch has been in office since 1985. That's 36 years of doing absolutely nothing except lining his pockets, cheating in elections, and taking bribes. That's how Washington works. Take bribes, sell your country out, hide behind the guy next to you because he's filthy and crooked as hell so your ass is covered, and watch the country go down the toilet because this isn't their country anyway.
