I thought they stopped using that term ODD. I am an educator and remember it to be out of our lexicon. Now maybe that's because it is a diagnosis only doctors can give. Usually it consists of outburst of anger and throwing chairs and the like. However, I had a student with what seemed to be this and it turned out her mother had autism and wasn't able to show her normal bonding behavior. I think it can be cured with lots of love and support.
