Well, this is modern day bs. Some ppl spend years in college and go straight to the unemployment or welfare line...too lazy to do what was done centuries ago. But these wise-asses decided that they would rather you be subservient to the government. Yet these little factions would pop up and teach hands-on a trade. mostly in rural areas. basics were taught during this time as well.
