Although most people think the WIZ of OZ was the first color film, it was not, BUT it was the first BIG marketed-push film. I just wonder how many girls at the time, was desiring to have the "ruby red sparkly shoes?!!" As late a 2 years ago, parents could buy glittery red shoes during the Thanksgiving-Christmas shopping season! And it goes on. Ugh. If we knew when we were kids, what we know now..
. (My parents never got them for me when I was in single digits, but I don't remember asking either. They would basically tell us, "You get what you get and don't throw a fit!" Bless them!)

Yes, but the big screen production, the red ones would stand out.
In any case, the enemy of our souls will glam on to anything to twist it or to try to make it over in his image.. My mind has been so on the 'particular leather' of the evil ones, and how horrendous that is.
