I have a hard time believing that people whose religion requires them to torture, rape, and murder children - then eat them would feel "uncomfortable" hearing this happening on an island specifically created for this purpose. No doubt he's one of them. But to suggest any of them have "empathy" for one of those victims is quite a stretch.
