Chapter 1 : Where to begin, I am an average person. Nothing special about me at first glance. I grew up in a dysfunctional blue-collar family. Dad worked at construction, Mom stayed home with the kids and occasionally worked part-time to make ends meet. During the recession in the 70's things went sideways and my family hit hard times. Add some alcoholism and money troubles and you have the recipe for neglect. I don't hold a grudge against my parents. Life is hard and it's harder when the way of the world is "Hooray for me, and best of luck to you" (My Dad used to say "hooray for me, and fuck you" but I cleaned it up for you lol). I left home at 19, got a job and lived with a boyfriend til he got addicted to drugs. 10 years down the tubes. After that I was on a solo mission. I found my spirituality at that time thanks to Marianne Williamson. I fell in love and spent 25 years with a man that just left me because he can't handle MY Calling.
