And one final description of the ring has come down to us. It is found in a Yiddish folk tale. The tale goes as follows:

Over the last 2 weeks I've read The Forgotten Books of Eden.
Wow.. That adds a few colors I never heard of. They (Adam and Eve) were constantly trying to kill themselves. God brought them back everytime. They begged and begged to be allowed back. They wandered and wandered trying to find it again.
Kinda reminds me of today.
What an eye opener.

The folks Who lent me this lived in Jerusalem for 15 yrs. They moved back to my little town by chance(?) Two weeks later another couple who lived in Israel for 10yrs just happened(?) to move here also. Coincedence?
For the last 6 mos they have become my wife and mine, and two others close friends greatest assets in our spiritual growth.
Point is they (both couples) collected an impressive library of religious books and writings. I have carte blanche' in reading whatever I want.
Its incredible the things I thought I knew, but really knew nothing at all. Still don't.
Most particularly The Torah (Pentateuch).
I'm a sinner, always will be a sinner.
I confess that. I understand that. And even though I will always fall short, I now understand my job is to do my absolute best each day regardless of these facts.
I pray to be forgiven in all of this, and believe I will be.
Over my 63 yrs I regret my wasted time, that should have been spent learning.
