When asked if permission is needed to hang banners on a Bridge, this is what I said:
No, no permission is necessary...
Like I told Illinois State Police when he said my Messages were
"Not authorized"...
"Oh, but my Messages are authorized"
The Officer said "Oh yes, by who?"
My response:
"My Banners are authorized by God & the Constitution"
As I gave him my lovely, Irish smile.
I could see a smile of his own, break out on his face, underneath his mask....
And that, as they say....
