Reporting back on the carnival for those who haven't been to the fairgrounds or are out of state. Without getting into too many specifics, the carnival is on the left, coliseum on the right. As you can see, there is quite a distance between the two & plenty of wide open space all around the building. The street access to get around to the front of the coliseum is blocked & secured- no entry except if permitted by guards. Past that point, there is still a significant distance until you reach the building (& it is all monitored). Guards were zipping around in golf carts in the parking lot.
