The juvenile said there was a gun in the car. The juvenile said Thomas, who he only knew as “Black,” put the gun somewhere in the car. The juvenile said that he had only met Thomas a week before at a motel in St. Paul. Police found two guns in the car, a 9 mm pistol and a .22 caliber revolver with an obliterated serial number, according to the DOJ statement.
