The Supreme Court building was begun in 1935. I always thought it was much older. Will you miss the monumental design, the huge columns and stairway that is intended to make us feel small (humble)?
Maybe someday there will be boat tours so we can visit the Lincoln Memorial and so forth. However even the Lincoln Memorial is monumental, more so than it needs to be.
We need to look forward especially to President Trump's Patriot National Park honoring American heroes.

When in DC, I love to go to the Jefferson Memorial at night. Just sit there and wonder how quite it is.
