From the bit I have read from those that have extra-sensory perception it may be even more deadly than harming and killing the physical body. This particular poison may be detaching the body from the soul or crushing the soul. I have no way to ascertain that but my knowledge of how deep their evil goes says that is a distinct possibility if they figured out how to do that.
