We The People send our condolences out to the family, friends, & coworkers of Sergeant James Smith from the Iowa State Patrol, who was shot and killed while trying to apprehend a suspect on Friday. Sergeant Smith served for 27 years, and leaves behind a wife & two children.#RIP
