The detainment seemed to get Al-Waleed bin Talal to pay up and to expose the corruption to the world. Being detained in the Ritz Carlton in Riyadh is pretty cushy considering a Saudi friend described their jails as places where there is no sun.

We were served dates and coffee as we walked through the doors.
The walkway to the entrance was trimmed with Marigold's.
That struck me as interesting as we planted Marigold's to keep the rabbits out of the garden in WI.
Never thought I would see them in the KSA.
