Same phenomenon as sundog: caused by cold particles in the air.

Well, the thing is that we are going into the constellation of Aquarius. It is the coldest part of the heaven. The so called 'age of aquarius'. It's part of the precession of the earth. Why is it so cold? I don't know. But the temperature of space around us is not everywhere the same.
