My life felt over a few years back.
I had no hope. I was a mess and drinking too much wine.
Then this petunia grew in the cracks of my patio pavers.
My husband planted them the year before he died in a flower box 30 feet away.
I bitched because he bought black and not purple flowers. But had he not bought this odd color I wouldn't have known he was sending me a sign.

Bloom again, girl!
Resurrect.
You can do this.
You’re not done yet.

Our world is kind of doing this now.
Things are dying—people, systems, old ways
But, like Jesus, and with Jesus, I truly believe this planet will resurrect.
This time with more love, faith and a whole lot of color.
