There are written records in their own hand by original writers like Tesla and our Founding Fathers, they're not destroyed, just ignored. It's easy to pervert what's allowed to be covered in dust.

The Bible has original writings and any honorable Biblical scholar who composes a modern version of The Bible, refers back to the oldest known extant texts in their original languages and translates, some NT texts are within 20 yrs or less of Jesus' crucifixion. The Dead Sea Scrolls, from a time before Jesus, certify the Torah and other OT books as being almost identical to modern translations.

It's dangerous to say, "It's all lies, so who can know the truth?" If you want to know the truth, pray God leads you, then search for it. It's not all lies, but the one whispering that to you is.

What comes out most is how quick to anger you are & how quick to place anger where there is none.

I'm 71 & have studied The Bible, both canon & extra for most of my life, but still know I need more study. It's as important to listen to God concerning books He chose not to include as those He had included.

Would you prefer the Apocalypse of Peter, where those in Heaven can pray the damned out of Hell & Dante got his Inferno? When they were choosing books, it was more popular than John's Revelation. Or the Gnostic writings like the Gospel of Judas or those that sound as New Age as any in the modern movement? How about the version of Gnostic Christianity that inspired Mohammad? I like the Gospel of Thomas, it could be the Q document. Everyone loves Enoch.

All ancient writings aren't equal. The Gospel we have today saves, Jesus is in it & He shines out. From Yahweh Who walked with Adam to Yeshua our Risen Savior, we see Him.
