Slow, drip by drip, easy and non-forceful entry into other frames of mind over time. I remember as a teen the first movies introducing Communists as "just normal people like us" when it began. I am not saying the "people" of communist countries are bad, even leaders that have surely had the foot of money upon their necks as we had with the "Corporate America" scandal...but the idea of "acceptable Communism" was ind=troduced and I remember it when it happened in the "80s.
