God that's creepy, all those evergreen containers ? , but to set things straight, the story wasn't about child trafficking, in this scene Dexter is watching himself as a child being rescued by the cop who eventually adopts and raises him. He was in the container with his brother where his mother was murdered with a chainsaw in front of them by drug dealers. The trauma of that event is the reason given as to why he became a serial killer.
