Basha Berl - That's amazing. Did you have the opportunity to meet Barry Goldwater? My 35 year old daughter found my "golden" Goldwater pen that I used to wear on my clothes when I campaigned for him a few days ago in one of my very old jewelry boxes. She was with me when she found it so I saw it, too. It brought back very good memories. As a 16 year old girl people were pretty mean to me when I passed out Goldwater literature at grocery stores.
oh yes,, he was a frequent visitor at our dinner table along with Bill Buckley jr and Arnold Palmer who were all good friends! Listening to them has shaped me as the conservative I am today. All wonderful men.
