My high school (I'm old) had large buildings on the edge of campus. There were woodwork, electrical and mechanical shops for each building and there was a large field for the agriculture students to grow crops. They had their own building too. Don't know why they gave it up. It was important for the kids who just wanted to learn a trade and get a good job. To be honest, the Democrats and unions took over the state and you know the rest.
