my family is what youd call blue collar mostly military, public safety, nurses etc.. i remeber a post by Doq. dont bither trying to wake them up anymore. just be there when they do wake up. it will only get draining amd frustrating for you. that Doq post resinated with me too. it gave me permission to chnage my outlook, efforts and purpose with them. it also made me realize how blessed i am to be awake....our relationship with them will still be just as valuable when/as this all plays out. We become a soft place to land and their stable comfort.
