So, in life, there are two types of people, nerds and cool guys. Nerds are usually free thinkers that do not fear ridicule if they find that their solution is good. What you are seeing here are 2 nerds.

Opposed to the nerds is the vast army of normies lead by "the cool guys". The cool guys have fallen into the trap of getting their hormonal jolts of approval not by proposing new ideas and be happy when these seem to please others. No, instead, the cool guys realized that if they only imitate the behaviour of others, they will always be approved of and therefore always be happy, regardless of the quality of their ideas since they bypassed the whole vetting procedure all together.
