Been an Independent for decades - we need a new party or more than two alternatives
I wonder if Trump ran as an independent if that would wake more people up? Why change things just bring independent into the spotlight.

An Independent would have a very difficult time of winning a presidential primary, never mind the Presidency. Some of that has to do with the Electoral College process and some has to do with getting on states ballots. That is a bigger battle than the election itself. Reestablishing the Republican Party is the right way to go.
