From what i have found while digging, during his June 2018 State Visit to the UK, the Windsors were shown all the evidence compiled against them regarding Crimes Against Humanity and were given a choice to be publicly tried and exposed or be quietly put to death. They submitted and chose the latter. they have been dead since 2019.
