This very thing happened to us. We were without power and water for 80 hours, and tried melting snow to use in the toilet and it was the craziest thing I have ever seen. And, we had a hard time getting the snow to melt on the propane camp stove too.

Wow! Can't begin to imagine how difficult things are, prayers have been with all Texas, but this snow this is insane!
