I think this reference to Peter Pan was not chosen lightly. "Pan" was a half-goat fertility god known for his ability to make humans panic. And "Neverland" is where kids went who "never grow up" (of course Disney made it into a kids movie!) Michael Jackson, former child star, created a refuge where at-risk youths could be safe from predators he knew were all too real.
