The One Who Carries the Wind

The old stories say
Freedom is not running away—
It is knowing where your spirit belongs
even while moving.

I was taught to listen
before choosing a direction,
to feel the pull of the unseen
that tugs gently at the ribs.

Some beings are born to carry messages
between heartbeat and horizon.
They remind us that motion can be prayer
When it is guided by respect.

Time bends around those
who trust the long road.
Mistakes fall behind them
like dust shaken loose from memory.

I keep that teaching close:
Do not fear the speed of change.
Fear only the moment
You forget why you travel.

So I breathe with the open distance,
Let courage take the lead.
and follow the path
that remembers my name
long after my tracks have softened.
