What would it look like if you didn’t allow your kids to play video games, watch TV, or have a phone?
This little fellow is 12. Last summer, on the same day, three different neighbors asked if he could come work for them.
I’ll be honest. I know this boy pretty well. If I had let him stay inside and bought him video games, I’m skeptical I could get him off the couch today.
Kids don’t accidentally become capable.
If you have children, do everything you can to build good habits early. They’ll carry them a long way.
Thank you kindly,
Glade Smith

The appreciation and approval he gets from the people he works for would have never been received from a video game.
That builds his integrity.
Good point.
