People have chosen the false Gods of celebrity, political figures, and even themselves. I love this passage from the bible. "Choose you this day whom to serve" is a famous challenge from Joshua 24:15, where Joshua urges the Israelites to decide between serving the Lord or other idols, declaring, "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord". This passage emphasizes the importance of personal choice, daily commitment, and loyalty to God over false gods."
