32 Years as a New York State Correctional Officer... Jesus is my copilot, I’m usually armed, ready and quite capable.
The question of whether Supreme Court judges are supposed to remain unpolitical is a complex one. While the Supreme Court is often perceived as a non-political institution, the reality is that politics has always been part of the Court. The idea of an apolitical court is a relatively recent development, and the Court has been a much more partisan and political institution in the past. The Supreme Court's decisions are not apolitical; they are influenced by the political beliefs and agendas of the justices. This politicization has raised concerns about the Court's legitimacy and the rule of law, as judges are expected to be objective and driven by sound legal reasoning. The politicization of the Supreme Court has led to a significant decline in public trust in the institution, with many Americans believing that the Court is not impartial. We the people no longer trust our judicial system and that is sad.
