Jeffrey Epstein and a man named Greg Brown were planning on extorting Gaddafi officials and assets in order to “help rebuild the country” after the fall of Gaddafi, with the help of ex-MI6 and Mossad agents.

The emails are from July 2011, during the ongoing civil war; Gaddafi did not lose power until an entire month later. (It is unclear if they succeeded in their plan.)
