There was the story of a convicted criminal that was sentenced to death by hanging. The executioner was to hang him from a large tree limb that hung out over a body of water. So as the man started to put the rope around his neck, the guy asked if the rope was new. To which the executioner replied, Yes it is, why do you ask?
