for the hopper - overall I do like how SF Mayor Lurie is connecting with the people of SF via Instagram and usually promotes personal responsibility and safety. He is a “moderate” liberal and has done things recently like signing legislation that includes increasing vehicle impoundment, and strengthening penalties against illegal sideshows (car demonstrations in the streets with gatherings)

These policies target participants, organizers, and spectators to combat dangerous street takeovers and improve neighborhood safety.

As a native and lifelong Bay Area resident, I do feel like in general he is slowllly walking the SF left libs towards the middle with common sense safety support. I’m not sure how this will all play out as we host the SuperBowl AND always have a giant SF Chinese New Year event. Could be great cover for ICE to manage and kick off SF fraud management / tech industry and sanctuary illegals like we see in MN.
