Brazil Rises Like a Lion: The Acorda Brasil March Just Redefined Patriotism

If the foreign press wants to pretend nothing happened in Brasília on January 25, 2026, that’s their problem. Brazil, meanwhile, just staged one of the most extraordinary patriotic mobilisations of the modern era—and did it with dignity, discipline and a level of national courage that Europe and the United States can only dream of right now.

Let’s be clear:
The Acorda Brasil march wasn’t a protest. It was a resurrection.

For 240 kilometres—yes, kilometres, not tweets or hashtags—ordinary Brazilians marched with the devotion of pilgrims and the strength of a nation finally refusing to be trampled. From Paracatu to Brasília, across mud, storms and exhaustion, the people walked because freedom is worth blistered feet and sleepless nights.

... young, fearless, and armed with nothing but conviction and a Bible...
