While I was in Wally World yesterday shopping for my mom & myself, I observed people to gauge their response to the weather warnings of the last several days. Most were stocking up for a couple or 3 days, a few were in full on blizzard mode, and a few were preoccupied with the ‘what ifs’…such as what if I loose my electric heat leaving me with nothing? One elderly grey haired man got my attention with the 4 large clay flowerpots in his buggy. I knew what else I would find if I looked long enough and sure enough, I found the tea lights. I had seen the same tictok or YouTube clip showing how to make a flower pot heater. I felt so sorry for him, myself and everyone else solely dependent on the god damn electric lines staying up.

I sure hope the powers that be understand the level of stress they are bringing with severe weather on an already maxed out American population.
