Annnd that's a good thing, right?
I think it means this: The veil has to come off at a certain pace, not all at once or it will cause a catastrophic civil war and we all do badly then.

I agree. I just get a little sinister sometimes. You know, some movies just drag out. But you're right, it has to be this way.
