Freemasonry claims to be open to all faiths, but in its highest degrees, the deity becomes more and more abstract: a concealed, ineffable Architect.

This matches Saturn’s ancient form as El, a god of distance, silence, judgment.

In the Royal Arch degree, the lost Name of God is recovered, but only through a ritual of descent and reconstruction.

The vault beneath the temple (often cubic) must be opened.
The initiate must descend into Saturn’s tomb to retrieve the Word.

This is Gnostic in its essence: the divine spark hidden in the black stone, the soul buried in the body.

Freemasonry does not worship the Demiurgic Saturn BUT it works for him. Chronos is a LORD of Limits. Masonry is a Saturnian path: noble, structured, disciplined, but still under the sign of the black god.

The initiate is promised light, but first must become a CUBE. And unless he finds the secret within the stone, he will remain buried, a perfect ashlar in the wall of the world.
