Update:

We are home now. Surgery went well for my son. They removed about 12 teeth? 2 really bad abscessed teeth, one with double roots, seems to run in the family. Took him a couple of hours to wake up, but he did and bounced back beautifully by spitting blood all the way home all over my middle son's car. Oh well! At least he youngest is doing good! No more infections and he should be good for some years and he still has some chewing teeth left, which is good for him to still eat with!

Soft foods for the next foreseeable future! He is about to fall asleep, as he had only 3 hours of sleep, as did all of us.

But the hardest part is over and he did very well! First time for him to head off to surgery before he went asleep as well, and he did great! No fuss, no muss, and no problems!!!
