BREAKING: It's official, California will defy federal law and tax your tips. Governor Newsom needs the $4,400 more than servers do.

A restaurant server in the 22% tax bracket who earns $20,000 in tips would save approximately $4,400 in federal income taxes with the No Tax on Tips law.

The No Tax on Tips law, allows you to deduct up to $25,000 of certain tips received during the year.

A high-volume bartender in the 24% tax bracket who claims the maximum $25,000 deduction could save up to $6,000 annually in federal income taxes.

But not if you live in California, adding to these states defying the tax relief: Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Maine
New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.

And the Democratic part says they are for the working man/woman.

Those states will empty as people protect their earnings from greedy governors.
