Malcolm Ian Offord, Baron Offord of Garvel (born 5 September 1964) is a Scottish politician who has been the Leader of Reform UK Scotland since 2026. He has been a member of the House of Lords from 2021, he announced his resignation from the Lords in January 2026. He previously served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Scotland and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Exports. Previously a member of the Scottish Conservatives, Offord defected to Reform UK in 2025, becoming the party’s first peer. In 2026 he was appointed as the leader of Reform UK Scotland By Nigel Farage.
Following Offord being appointed the Scottish leader of Reform UK, he signed his resignation letter from the House of Lords, which takes effect on 30 January 2026.
Offord was born in Greenock,[2] in September 1964.[3][4]
