Thanks for posting this. I remember when this happened and was kind of following along online - but not minute-by-minute on 4chan.
Incidentally, I was not far from it and know the area well, so I was particularly tickled at Shia LaBuff's indignant outrage at how his clever plan could so easily be thwarted.

When the Autists captured the flag, there were some great memes of a couple of Pepes in a field running off with the flag. Shia's anger made the celebration even more enjoyable.
It also showed how powerful open-source research can be by a bunch of frogs who are not impressed or protected by the deep state and hollywood establishment, and who feel a little payback is due.
